Set in the heart of Riyadh's Digital City, Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel & Convention Centre is one of the capital's most capable event addresses, purpose-built for gatherings that need real scale. Opened in 2018 as part of IHG's expansion across Saudi Arabia, the property pairs a modern hotel with more than 12,000 square metres of exhibition and conference space. The exterior makes an impression before you even walk in, with the striking three-level circular Siwar Hall as its centrepiece, joined inside by the Sultana Ballroom, which seats up to 2,000 guests and divides into six separate sections, plus generous pre-function areas and daylight meeting rooms fitted with current digital technology. Between the banquet facilities and the convention floors, the venue can host well over 5,000 people at once, which is why it regularly draws conferences, trade shows, weddings and corporate galas. Worth noting for anyone booking, this is a different property from Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace, so double-check which address your event is at.

The location works in its favour. Imam Saud Ibn Abdul Aziz Road puts the hotel within easy reach of central Riyadh, with King Khalid International Airport and the city's main attractions roughly half an hour away by car, and complimentary on-site parking removing the usual headache for delegates arriving in their own vehicles. When the sessions end, there is plenty to stay for. Each restaurant on site brings something different, from KOI and its Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cuisine to Wildfire, a Brazilian steakhouse, with a lobby café and an indoor tea garden covering lighter bites and long coffees between meetings.
