Beyond the sun hides pain, as darkness forms an environment for poverty, disease, destitution, and loss. It is an incubator environment for corruption, theft, and plunder. Behind the eye of the sun, death comes creeping in, little by little, in order to uproot the sources of life and reach people’s hearts, to spread ignorance and loss.
The days are the same, the times are fixed, the trees do not grow, the colors are faded, life is pale and does not progress, and nothing moves except for the slow death that creeps behind a curtain of darkness to kill all these meanings in humans. These meanings are evoked by the performance of “On The Other Side” from Bahrain, with the existence of a remote, distant village thrown on the bank beside the river and without sun.
An environment dark in internal and human meaning, yet joyful and full of theatrical action and semantic value, as this show stimulates the value of life and the value of humans through connotations and actions, reinforcing the importance of researching the essence and core of humans.
