2025 Asian Functional Fitness Championship Comes to Riyadh – October 2–4

For the first time ever, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the Asian Functional Fitness Championship, Asia’s premier event in the sport, taking place in Riyadh from October 2 to 4, 2025.

This milestone event will bring together 70 elite athletes from 10 countries across Asia to compete on an international stage, showcasing peak physical strength, endurance, and skill.

The championship reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing presence as a leading global sports destination, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Backed by the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), the Ministry of Sport, and the International Functional Fitness Federation, the event underscores the nation’s commitment to promoting health, fitness, and active lifestyles for all.

Audiences can look forward to a world-class competition that not only celebrates athletic excellence but also fosters community and unity among athletes and fans from across the continent — all in the heart of Riyadh.

The championship will bring together 70 of Asia’s top functional fitness athletes representing 10 nations — including Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, South Korea, Australia, and India. Over three days, these athletes will compete in a series of rigorous events that test strength, endurance, mobility, balance, and mental resilience, showcasing the very best of the sport.

Backed by the Ministry of Sport, the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), and the International Functional Fitness Federation, the championship is more than just a high- level sporting event. It serves as a platform to promote functional fitness as a lifestyle accessible to everyone — from professional athletes to everyday enthusiasts.
